Built around 1522 Black Boy Inn is one of oldest inns in North Wales and one of UK s few remaining free houses owned by an independent family business. In keeping with its historic surroundings, the inn has retained its charm and quirky character with cosy open fires, heavy oak beams, low ceilings, creaking floorboards, narrow staircases and load bearing walls up to one and a half metres thick. The inn s whitewashed facade paints a pretty picture adorned with bold black lettering, hanging baskets, lanterns and four signs each showing a black buoy on one side and black boy on the other. Inside, the inn s traditional bar serves locally brewed Welsh ales, local lager and offers a comprehensive wine list. The 26 en-suite rooms have unique characters and all have with tea/coffee making facilities, TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, natural luxury toiletries and quality bedding. For guests who have an allergy to feathers, the hotel will ensure your room is feather pillow free if advised in advance. Rooms range from single, double, executive and one romantic 4 poster room. Car parking is allocated on arrival , we use main castle car park first and keep the small car park at the Inn for disabled and late arriving guests. Our parking is GBP 5.00 per day for residents.
